Victim Services


SERVICES FOR VICTIMS ARE
PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE
THEY INCLUDE:


Emergency 30 Day Shelter - providing     safety to victims fleeing violence in their homes.

Individual Counseling in any of four outreach offices.

Legal Advocacy - accompaniment and advocacy during Protection From Abuse hearings in Westmoreland and Allegheny Counties, as well as during criminal proceedings at the District Justice level.

Emergency Transportation to court proceedings.

Systems Advocacy - working with the justice, mental health and other systems to advocate for victims.

Support Groups - providing a safe place for victims to discuss and be educated on domestic violence.

Information and Referral - providing other options.


HOPE also provides preventive educational
programs and trainings.
