How to Erase Website Addresses

If you are afraid for your safety or if you are afraid for the safety of yourself and/or your children, you may be in immediate danger.

For safety sake, if your abuser uses the same computer, be sure to erase the website addresses of any site you visit seeking information and help before you close down your computer.

In Internet Explorer 5.0 simply click tools, internet options, delete temporary internet files.  In Internet Explorer 4.0 click view, internet options, delete temporary internet files.  You do not know how he/she may react if they learn you are seeking outside information and/or help.  Please don’t take the chance.

If you live in Southwestern Pennsylvania, please call 1-888-299-HOPE for assistance in finding a domestic violence program close to you. Or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE.
